The South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism held a ribbon cutting for the city of South Sioux City on Friday, November 15. The ribbon cutting celebrates the paving project at West 21st and Commerce Way.
The paving project opened 50 plus acres of shovel ready commercial land for future development. At this time, twelve lots are completed with three sold and being developed. The project included the completion of utility services for the available lots and has an extension of the current trail system.
The paving project was funded by a grant from the EDA and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds.
